A Coastal Living, including the Market Centers that make up our network and the associated Real Estate Consultants, attaches the utmost importance to the security and privacy of your personal data. We operate in strict compliance with applicable data protection legislation, namely the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and complementary national legislation, such as Law no. 58/2019, of 8 August, which ensures the execution of GDPR in Portugal.

We are committed to using your data in a transparent and responsible way, with the primary objective of facilitating your search by properties, namely houses, apartments, offices or shops, through our platform. All information collected is stored securely, both by Coastal Living as well as by our technological and commercial partners.

This Privacy Policy seeks to explain in a clear and detailed way what personal data we collect, the purposes for which we use it, with whom we share it, how we protect it and the rights that you have as a data subject. This policy applies exclusively to data collected through the website www.coastalliving.pt and may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legislation. The updated versions will be published on the website, indicating the date of revision. The current version is dated January 13, 2026.

The entity responsible for the processing of your personal data is Coastal Living, Lda., with headquarters at Rua do Beco Torto, Nº 10, R/C, Fracção C, 2750-505 Cascais (hereinafter referred to as ”Coastal Living“).

For the purposes of GDPR, we act as Responsible for the Treatment of personal data collected through our website (www.coastalliving.pt, hereinafter “Website” or “Platform”). This policy covers only the data processed in this context and does not extend to third-party sites or applications, even if accessed through links on our Website.

  3. Market Centers page (interview scheduling): Including in particular (i) Name, (ii) Telephone contact, (iii) Email address and (iv) Personal details in the description field;

These data are obtained during the use of the Platform, in an anonymous and aggregated form, to improve the service:

Technical information: IP address, time zone, operating system, browser type and version.

Browsing data: Sites of origin and destination, date and time of visit, properties consulted, Market Centers and Consultants viewed, duration of visit, response time of pages, interactions with functionalities.

Random monitoring: Sessions randomly selected by partners for aggregated and anonymous analysis of usage patterns.

3. purposes of the processing of personal data

We process your data based on legal grounds such as consent, contract performance or legitimate interests.

The aforementioned purposes include, in particular:

  1. Facilitate contacts with Real Estate Consultants via forms (real estate pages or consultants);
  2. Answer questions via contact form;
  3. Schedule interviews for candidates interested in the network Coastal Living;
  4. Forward orders for the sale of real estate to Market Centers and Consultants.

For automatic data:

  1. Create anonymous profiles for segmentation and improvement of the Platform;
  2. Optimize search performance and personalization;
  3. Measure highlight effectiveness and manage security;
  4. Support remarketing by Consultants, in accordance with privacy standards.

We do not use data for incompatible purposes without your consent.

We share data only when necessary:

  2. With service providers: Under contracts with protection clauses;
  3. By legal obligation: Competent authorities;
  4. To comply with terms: Protection of rights.

We use Google Analytics for Display and remarketing; opt out via Ads Preferences Manager or Analytics Opt-out. Third parties such as Google or Facebook may use cookies for optimization.

We do not transfer data outside the EU without adequate safeguards.

  2. Legal obligation: Minimum periods (e.g. billing for 10 years).

A Coastal Living will send efforts to the network of Real Estate Consultants its associates so that their personal data is deleted from all databases in which they appear.

After the expiration of these periods, the data is anonymized or deleted.

8. technical and organizational measures and security of treatment

We store data on secure servers with firewalls, antivirus and monitoring. Despite this, the internet is not 100% secure; adopt personal measures such as updated browsers, using properly configured security patches, with active firewall, antivirus and anti-spyware and, make sure of the authenticity of the sites you visit on the Internet, and should avoid websites whose reputation you do not trust.
